I made these ramps for loading my small John Deere tractor on my tip trailer. When midmount mower was connected, I needed to raise trailer about one foot so that the mower deck could clear the trailer end.

23 sty 2011 · The ramp ends are attached to the gate with 4 clevis pins. The gate its self is supported by angle iron from underneth but I augmented that with a safety chain. We just loaded the Cub cadet in winter mode (over 1600 lbs with opperator) onto the truck.
18 lis 2014 · You can either easily buy plywood with a natural bow :laughing: from a home center or build in the arch for better safer loading. A strip of hardware cloth attached provides an excellent no skid surface. Purchased ends and 2x10s would work well for your application.
7 maj 2009 · The ends that I bolted on are what I thought might be of interest. They are 1/4" aluminum checker plate that I cut with my angle skil saw. They are designed to operate between 18" and 42" range.
In this episode I build the quick attach units which mount onto the ends of the arms and enable the rapid attachment and detachment of buckets, forks and other attachments. These quick attach units and the remainder of the build should be compatible with many compact tractors.
17 lut 2008 · Check out this video on homemade hydraulic trailer ramps. He used a powerpack designed for a pickup bed round bale spear lift. The ramps are also adjustable by utilizing square tubing on the ramp support leg outside of a smaller square tube on the lift bar to the actuator (cylinder). Cool.
