  4. 12 gru 2011 · Anyone have any ideas for a home made cargo rack for the back of my wrangler? If so post pics and give ideas, I just don't feel like blowing 300 on a cargo rack when I could just weld one together..

  5. 25 maj 2021 · It is galvanized silver and the hubs are galvanized as well. The bolt pattern was the standard trailer 5 on 4.5. I added a 1.25” thick wheel adapter to run the JT wheels which are 5 X 5. They are still 1/2" thread so I used JK lug nuts. This was to match the spare tire mount which is from a JK.

  6. 5 sty 2020 · I have a bumper/tire carrier fabricated by DIRTWORX that has a removable cargo rack above the spare tire. I like it a lot but only run it if I’m camping. Easy to access and can hold a reasonable amount of weight.

  7. 7 lis 2018 · #1. I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of write ups on homemade tire carriers. Here’s how I built mine with free Craigslist stuff and a $9 pin. Materials from Craigslist (free): Bicycle. Square tube lumber rack. Materials laying around: Old Jeep axle. Misc. metal. Remove pedal assembly. Drill hole in bumper and weld. Measure and cut lumber rack.
