20 sie 2017 · I am looking to build an elevated platform for my ground blind and eventually for a box blind. I am not a carpenter but I am handy and do have tools. Any ideas or pics?
14 wrz 2020 · After reading articles and watching videos, I made my own plans to build a ground blind platform. The platform is 6’ by 8’ and had 2’ (2x4 and 4x4) legs in each corner and two in the middle. The frame was 2x4 lumber with leftover plywood OSB (5/16) from old projects.
3 lip 2014 · I am thinking of making a raised platform to put a pop-up blind on. I have some ideas of what I'm going to do, but I thought I would check out some pics/ideas from the diy guys here. I generally hunt from stands, but my step-sons want to hunt more this year so some blind hunting is in order.
29 maj 2023 · I've used the T1-11 Plywood Sheathing on a couple stands. Paint it well and no issues.
Building a natural blind from saplings and bushes is a good solution for many situations. First, it's very inexpensive. A few tools, some baling wire or jute twine, and about an hour of your time is all you need. Second, it blends in very well and it doesn't smell like an object that doesn't belong.
26 sty 2021 · Most importantly having a railing inside the blind allows the user to reach out for stable support (railing) instead of pushing on/through the side of the blind (wall) and possibly tumbling over/off the elevated platform. We build platforms for ALL of our blinds even those that remain on the ground.
