29 cze 2021 · There are tuned single-band whip antennas, with BNC connectors, available from MFJ and probably other sources. I have gotten a 20 meter one and also a set of 8 loading and coils and one telescoping whip, all through ebay.
17 cze 2020 · The MFJ-994B IntelliTuner is rated at 600 watts PEP SSB, 600 watts CW, and 500 watts continuous carrier modes. In this video I will also show how to reset its original factory settings. It will generally tune in about 5 seconds.
10 mar 2020 · I’ve had success using a homebrew Z-match tuner. Companies like Pacific Antenna and QRP Guys sell Z-match tuner kits that will handle balanced lines. They offer tuners that are small and light enough for QRP-portable use.
This homebrew legal-limit antenna tuner is based on the famous "Ultimate Transmatch" introduced by the late Lew McCoy, W1ICP. The Ultimate Transmatch was described in the "Beginner and Novice" section of the July 1970 QST (Page 24).
12 maj 2024 · Antenna tuners (more accurately referred to as “transmatches”) make great homebrew projects; they are reasonably simple to build and, when finished, provide a useful piece of equipment. Every shack should have (at least) one.
11 gru 2016 · Basic external antenna tuners available for well under $100. The MFJ 16010 is specifically designed for random wire use and they offer a QRP-specific antenna tuner too. I personally use an LDG Z-817 .
