Works great at 100 watt, easy to tune, compact Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. This little tuner fits in my go kit and works great. To minimize stress on the tuner, I don't tune with the radio. I connect an antenna analyzer to the tuner and adjust for minimum SWR. Only then I connect it to the radio.
17 cze 2020 · I bought a new MFJ-936B loop antenna tuner from them and tried using it with a Kenwood TS-820 on phone with a 3/8" copper pipe loop element about 5 feet in diameter. I don't remember which band I was working but the loop was appropriate for the band, as per the manual.

16 cze 2022 · To use the ATU-10 with the interface cable, there is the setup procedure. Hook up all of the cables, including the interface cable to the IC-705. Now turn the ATU-10 on. Once booted, turn on the IC-705. Go into the, “Function” screen and tap the, “tuner” icon. You are ready to go.

14 kwi 2002 · #1. I currently use a Kenwood AT-130 tuner with my Yaesu FT-817ND, but have been looking at the MFJ-971 for portable and backpacking (the AT-130 is a bit heavy). I would like some pros and cons from folks who are currently using one.
