17 wrz 2010 · Holset WH1C and rebuild kit from BAE Turbo systems (this is a high quality kit with premium components), both purchased on Ebay. turbo=$350, rebuild kit=$70 Kit includes new bearings, seals, plates, and fasteners.
2 sie 2004 · A WH1C is a 8 blade HX35 compressor, despite the different name. A 500-550bhp turbo, like all 8 blade HX35s, 52lb/min compressor wheel, and will spool faster than a Garrett of the same power.
27 sie 2009 · The HX35 has a real sloppy shaft and the WH1C seems okay but the edges of the intake impeller are a little rough. I have a GDS 60mm upgrade kit that will fit it but I am curious about what the differences are. I found the diameter specs online and the numbers are the same.
16 gru 2011 · In our searching, we found that it was one of the original up-grade turbo's for the 6.5L trucks. Then along came the HX35,40,vgt etc...etc. Not sure which year, (Jeff will know), one is known as the "big H1C", a very sought after turbo for the import gasser scene.
13 sty 2012 · They have a non divided 9cm turbine needed for 4 bangers. Boostgeek runs huge ports and a huge cam with a 12cm Holset, HX35 by the looks of it. By design the HE341 should make for a raging street turbo, faster spool and big flow. I've seen 541 WHP from a stock turbo 05 truck, so a gas engine and a HE351 should be for making big HP numbers.
