How do I submit a manuscript to Holiday House? MANUSCRIPT GUIDELINES. Holiday House is a publisher of children’s books only. We specialize in quality hardcovers, from picture books to young adult, both fiction and nonfiction. We publish children’s and YA books for all ages.
I’m an editor at Holiday House with a primary focus on YA fiction in prose or graphic novel form. I’m also acquiring very selectively in nonfiction picture books (see below for what I’m looking for in PB NF as it’s very particular) and narrative nonfiction for middle grade.

Submissions should be emailed to tova.seltzer@holidayhouse.com. Submissions from this site can be sent to my primary email address. Please include #MSWL in the subject line of your email and include a short summary in the body of your email. Submissions can be attached as a Word document or a PDF.
Submit your entire manuscript, even if you are submitting a novel. They accept submissions through mail and email. They do not accept registered or certified mail and there is no need to include a self addressed and stamped envelope.
