Today, there are several scenic trains that are still running along these historic tracks that offer scenic rail travel to visitors to the region. Ride the rails along the Pemigewasset River aboard the Granite State Scenic Railway, or traverse Crawford Notch with a ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad's Mountaineer train.
The Hobo Railroad consists of two heritage railways in central New Hampshire. One, in Lincoln, offers rides through the White Mountains. The other, based in Meredith, explores the Lakes Region.
