28 wrz 2024 · HMBA is the oldest mountain bike club in NSW. It was formed in 1985 when Lake Macquarie Canoe club core members Bruce James, Bruce Richardson and John Upton decided to ride mountain bikes. The first local mountain biking events were held near the Charlestown Golf Course.
