Looking for info on mag extenders and can't find much. I see Taran tactical branded extensions and strike industries. The strike ones look better and lighter. My question is how well do they work, is there any downside? Does anyone have experience with the pmag 40 done up to 45 rds? Edit: I'm talking about ar15 mags. Mainly pmags.

18 sty 2017 · I bought the 2-round extension for the Shield 8 round magazine. The HYVE is easy to install, looks very good, and follows the lines of the shield perfectly. Great fit and finish, and I like the extra 2 rounds without being bulky or making my shield print.
