4 paź 2021 · Some have reported here that the newly released SL8s are coming stamped SL8-1 while others are coming stamped SL8-6. The date code is what actually determines whether one is newer than the other. If they are both the same color and configuration, it doesn’t really matter.

Second, the SL8-6 ditches the double-stack magazines of the G36 in favor of proprietary, safe-for-kids 10-round, single-stackers.
There are conversions available, but a full G36 conversion is somewhat pricey. I BELIEVE it involves getting a different bolt for the firearm to adapt it to the double stack mags. The conversion kit is a trove of replacement parts.

18 cze 2024 · I've looked at that, but I've researched and everything I found to be able to get the PMags, and G36 Mags, or any double stack mags to fully lock in is to have the SL8-6 Bolt modified to a G36 Bolt or buy a G36 Bolt and the G36 MagWell conversion.
