14 paź 2011 · I was wanting to start a thread that collects all the info about MP5 magazines. Things like date codes, markings, first year of the curved style, last year of straight style. Also would like to get into how each style performs in which gun using what type of ammo.

19 lip 2017 · I've got a mag for my MP5KPDW that maybe someone can identify based on the following description. It's a curved 40 rounder with witness holes at 10, 20, 30 and 40 rd intervals. The only markings are the capital letters "MCP" located toward the bottom of the mag body on its left side.
19 lis 2023 · Pictured below are the 20 mags. All have the same markings shown, no other markings. Some have a very slight "Dimple" on the front catch, others don't - Are these original HK magazines? The dimple is what's throwing off.

22 mar 2017 · The standard curved HK MP5 magazine is a steel box that holds 30 rounds of 9mm in a double stack column. Empty, the magazine weighs around 179 grams. The curvature is supposed to help feed 9mm rounds, although at one time H&K did make a straight magazine. You can see the straight magazine above.
16 maj 2011 · The straight HK mags work well and were only made pre-94. With that said, if you can get a deal on some unmarked Pakistani or Korean mags at a deal, they might be worth a try. Remember to check inside and outside for markings.
