The Model Ten Police Shotgun is gas operated, using a part of the gas pressure generated to operate the action of the firearm. This results in a reduction of the recoil of about 500/0 (compared to a pump-action shotgun). The Model Ten is designed to function either 23/4" high base or 23/4" magnum loads, inter- changeably, without adjustment.
