How can I set new tab pages and browser startup pages to be blank in Chrome? The default page takes a while (5 - 10 seconds) to become usable. Not really a big deal, but annoying when browsing rapidly. A couple more points:
3 mar 2016 · As mentioned in this answer (to a slightly different question), you can use an extension to give you a 'different' (more controllable) new tab page. The reason the site has never come back , is because when you hit the X , you're telling Chrome "I no longer (ever) want to see this site here".
