1 lip 2022 · I've recently bought a new macbook pro M2 (I used to have a macbook air 2017) and I immediately changed all my settings to match my old ones. I realised that when my macbook wasn't plugged in I was experiencing exactly what you are, the swiping between full screen apps was lagging.
Works on macOS Sierra 10.12.6. A faster/slower swipe of your fingers make a faster/slower fade-in. You can even stop mid-swipe to show the other screen translucently covering the present screen. Choose System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Reduce motion.

30 wrz 2015 · Just go to System Preferences > Mission Control and check the option that says "Displays have separate Spaces". Or on more recent macOS versions, the option is at the bottom of the Desktop & Dock tab: That solves the issue on one monitor going black when there is an app on fullscreen mode in the other.
