Install the expansion tank (A) on the supply side of the water heater, or on the suction side of the heating circulator. Use a hanger strap to support the weight of the expansion tank (A), as needed. Re-pressurize the system and check for leaks. Repair as necessary. Restart the water heater system and check for relief valve discharge.
