7 lut 2020 · This proposed rule would amend the defintion of hazardous waste applicable to corrective action to address releases from solid waste management units at RCRA-permitted treatment, storage, and disposal facilities.
The Hazardous Waste Section of the Division of Waste Management shall administer the hazardous waste management program for the State of North Carolina.

(a) Any person who treats, stores, or disposes of hazardous waste shall comply with the requirements set forth in this Section. The treatment, storage, or disposal of hazardous waste is prohibited except as provided in this Section.
