The location, although in a really rough neighborhood, is benefitted by being walking distance to the Ninth Circuit, SF Superior, and Ca Supreme Court. The Big Law numbers are pretty good as well for a school relatively low in the rankings.
I suggest taking Reddit posts criticizing UC Law SF with a grain of salt, as most criticisms seem to focus on outdated issues with the administration, which may not be relevant today. In my personal opinion, some posts exhibit a sense of entitlement.
It is true that a lot of California attorneys "know and recognize" the school. But recognition will get you an interview offer, not a job.
