I’ve heard a lot of bad things about the school, mainly because they have to compete with UC Berkeley and Stanford for jobs. I’ve also heard that it only MIGHT be worth going if a full scholarship is given out.

If you received a generous scholarship from Hastings, you might be at risk since most of the students targeted had large scholarships. Despite the name, UC Hastings isn't governed by UC Regents and operates with absolutely no oversight or required transparency. As a result, they've been able to get away with wanton corruption like this for years.
I suggest taking Reddit posts criticizing UC Law SF with a grain of salt, as most criticisms seem to focus on outdated issues with the administration, which may not be relevant today. In my personal opinion, some posts exhibit a sense of entitlement.
