I have three swords from Longquan (two Hanbon, one Ryansword) and they're neither good nor bad...they're ok. My personal opinion Pro's: Good price/expendable if you're new. Customization options (especially good for me, since I don't like tacky/overly bling koshirae).
Most people here will tell you Hanbon is very good for their price point. I've bought two of their swords and I'm very pleased with the results. I don't have any other sub $300 swords so I don't know of any seller other than Hanbon that I can recommend at this price point.
hanbon is one of the lower tier "drop-down menu" custom sword sellers. functional for the most part but far from the top of production sword quality. hanbon does not make their own swords, like most direct from China sellers, so their blades/fittings often look exactly like many other sellers products.

25 lis 2022 · Although I’d personally recommend my Zsey Sakura at $500 over the HBF. The HBF can be had for over a $100 cheaper, though. 9260 spring steel: I chose this for my Iaito, and, it’s maybe just a personal choice, but probably not really worth the extra cost for it. The 1060 is fine. Saya: Spring for the upgraded saya for the extra $45, imo.
