The Ham Radio Control Library–Hamlib, for short–is a project to provide programs with a consistent Application Programming Interface (API) for controlling the myriad of radios and rotators available to amateur radio and communications users.
Hamlib Design. The library provides functions for both radio and rotator control, and data retrieval from the radio or rotator. You will need to use a Windows shell to use Hamlib. This is only the first of many places you may find yourself scratching your head. It's OK. There's a first time for everything.
2 sty 2011 · Does anyone know how to install hamlib 4.5.5 on Windows 11? I'm trying to get FreeDV working on my 6700 and it uses hamlib for rig control. The installation .exe just creates the hamlib folder and subfolders, then the instructions talk about adding them to the PATH variable on Win 7, 2k, etc.
