I don't plan to post links, but I'm going to be posting the videos onto the Facebook page natively and putting my channel link in the description. However, this video says Facebook will penalize you for having links in the caption.

When in the link post editor, and just after you submit it, you may only see the link text, but once you go to the sub and select "posts", you will see your title and the thumbnail of your YouTube video.
I'm torn between uploading the video file directly to Reddit vs using the link. Here's the advantages I can see for each: Post as a link: Views on Reddit count as direct YouTube views, which helps drive the algorithm. Whenever I post a YouTube video to my profile it no longer shares what I wrote about the video. It only posts the link (with thumbnail) to the video. It's really frustrating because for some of them I wrote a pretty long synopsis of the video and it didn't even show up in my post.
