30 wrz 2007 · As far as binding goes, any Hamer with binding will always have ivoroid binding. The nut material will depend on the year of manufacture. And finally, the "bubbling" you speak of might be "hameritis" (do a search for it on the board), which is a finish defect which affected some Hamers.
16 paź 2012 · Hamer ordinarily equips its P-90 guitars at the factory with pickups manufactured by Seymour Duncan that are significantly hotter than standard-issue Gibson P-90s. Often Hamers are configured so that you can get a conventional P-90 tone with the volume backed off a couple of notches, and then turn the volume full on for an added boost.
I have a Hamer USA Studio (Les Paul Double Cut style / maple capped mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard) with Seymour Duncan ’59 humbuckers, but am considering HSP90’s for it instead.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Hamer P90 pickups, Hamer closed gear tuning keys, volume/tone controls/3-way pickups selector, tunomatic bridge/stop bar tailpiece. Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has some buckle rash and light surface scratches that are hard to photograph.
