Since 2008, the German Port Museum is a site of the Historic Museums Hamburg. With its unique concept, popular programme and interesting activities the museum promises to have a lot of potential in the future.
In Hamburg, a city whose historical and current development has been very much shaped by its port, a new museum is being created in the form of the German Port Museum, which is dedicated to the multifaceted significance of the special port interface and its role in history, today and in the future.
