We are an independent team of volunteer Amateur (“Ham”) Radio license examiners, working to provide ARRL-VEC Amateur Radio testing in the Columbus and Central Ohio area. Our team provides exam sessions for many Amateur Radio Clubs in the area, as well as conducting exams on our own, when the need arises.

Our next testing exam will be on Saturday, April 8th, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Ohio Union (1739 N High St, Columbus, OH 43210) in the Brutus Buckeye room (on the third floor). Please remember that this is open to the public.

Become a Ham! Amateur radio is a hobby which requires a license issued by the FCC. Study material is available in book form (paper or e-book), flashcards, apps, interactive web sites and more. The license requires passing a multiple choice exam which is offered by volunteers all around the country.
