Hades II (spoiler-free honest review) I've made it pretty much end-game, minus final boss fight & it's been a decent experience. I'm not a usual fan of rogue-likes, etc (Hades was my first one), so it's been a learning curve. I'll summarize my thoughts in 3 for people who need help deciding whether to play early access or not. Positives:
Early Access Patch 1 - May 16, 2024 Welcome to Hades II Early Access!! We're very grateful for all the feedback so far, which inspired the targeted improvements and fixes in this first patch. Next, we'll be working on a patch with balance changes and additional improvements based on what we've observed.
Hades 2: Discussion. As someone who is avoiding spoilers for the new game while still actively playing the older game it is frustrating coming to this subreddit where it feels like the majority of posts are about Hades 2. Especially since there is a r/hades2 subreddit.
