Purified Kryptis Essence on top of the ones you need for the crafting itself - which equates to 300 Globs of Ecto + the T1-T3 Kryptis Essence you grind per armor set. Looks like this might be the most expensive pathway to legendary armor, at 3,000+ gold.

1 mar 2024 · Second generation legendary weapons are crafted in the Mystic Forge by combining a precursor weapon, a gift tied to the particular legendary, plus the Gift of Maguuma Mastery (or Gift of Desert Mastery for some weapons) and the Mystic Tribute.
Looking into crafting a second legendary and hesitating between Axe, Dagger and sword. I have all classes to 80 but tend to rotate around Warrior, Thief, Necro and Ranger but i'm also intrested in Revenant (although i never really played it).
For gen1 legendaries use gw2efficiency to check if crafting the precursor is cheaper than buying. Buy basic mats you'll need now, prices are low at the moment. Buying materials with gold is more efficient than farming the materials themselves, in most cases, but it comes down to what you enjoy doing more.
