3 lip 2024 · From there there are use trails most of the way to the summit either on or just West of the ridge, though they fade out here and there. You can bypass the upper part of Pt13005 on these use trails. Lots of talus, some loose, most reasonable.
Along the way, Guyot can be seen to the southeast - 1 and 2. After approximately 0.5 mile, pass a gate and continue on the road for another 0.7 mile to find a trail that leaves the main road on the left. In winter, this trail may have ski and snowshoe tracks.

The streams that were high for Danger_D a week and a half ago are no longer an issue; the NW ridge route is now in full summer conditions. But just a note: "summer conditions" means the winter route is no longer a good idea.

Mount Guyot from the summit of Georgia Pass is a quick Class 2 hike that can be done in just a few hours. Accessing Georgia Pass from US 285 and the town of Jefferson provides a way to the pass that most crossover SUVs can drive without problem.
