29 gru 2022 · Look no further! In this beginner's guide, we'll explain the different types of gunpla grades and the features that set them apart. The five main gunpla grades are High Grade (HG), Master Grade (MG), Real Grade (RG), Perfect Grade (PG), and Super Deformed (SD).
They are 1/100 scale kits as their name implies, however they lack a lot of the complexities that MG's have, instead, their construction is more akin to a 1/100 NG or even an HG. They commonly use polycaps for many areas in their construction, and have a very basic build with no inner frame.
Master Grade or MG Gundams are very common Gundam grades and is recommended for advanced modelers. These models are on the 1:100 scale and about 7 inches tall. Generally speaking, MG and RG models have the same details, but they differ in size. In context, MG models are 44% larger than RG models.
