15 lis 2021 · How to fix GTA 4 performance issues on PC. Download the latest version of DXVK. Copy d3d9.dll from the \x32 folder into your GTA 4 directory. Find out how much display memory you have. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run window and type in dxdiag. Navigate to the Display tab and note down the number next to Display Memory.

Edit: And if you want to use Zolika fix you'll need to follow the guide for downgrading your game version since the latest version on Steam (assuming you're using the Steam version) is the Complete Edition and that fix won't work.
18 kwi 2023 · I had a problem with GTA 4 on my Windows 11 PC. The game often stopped at startup and closed the program completely. When it started normally, it already jerked in the title screen. I tried all possible solutions from the internet and from here and finally the following helped:

For those of you trying to launch GTA IV on Windows 10 without anything happening when pressing 'play', I finally found the fix here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/1mfkxv/gta_iv_doesnt_start_at_all/. Basically, you just download two .dll files and place them in your GTA IV install directory, where the GTAIV.exe is found.
