Because its an area frequented by people who are visiting and aren't familiar with the area, who have luggage with them and probably expensive electronics and cash, and may be easy targets.

8 sie 2024 · I will never use Greyhound again, even in an emergency such as this. The buses were filthy with zero social distancing, and more than half the passengers wore no masks. The bus drivers were rude, mean and extremely impolite, and completely unhelpful in any capacity.

24 cze 2022 · We arrived at Port Authority and to our gate waiting on our bus to board. At 6:30pm, a random Greyhound employee who was outside on the dock informed us that our bus was canceled. We went to the information center to ama about this and they advised us to go to Greyhound customer service.
