Grepolis is a free, browser-based online game with a strong focus on cooperative play and strategy. Your task is to transform a small polis (Greek for town) into a huge metropolis. Recruit a powerful army with mythical units like the Manticore or the Hydra.
Grepolis is a war game set in Ancient Greece where you battle other players and build up your empire. The main concepts of Grepolis are wisdom and strength. A person with both wisdom and strength will succeed and prosper.
World Wonders (often abbreviated as WW) brought a new team-play aspect to Grepolis after the 2.0 update. Once the world is in the "Era of World Wonders" stage, alliances may build world wonders on islands they completely own. World Wonders are built by collecting up resources.
Olympus Summary. In this game mode, the world's size is constrained but all islands are open for colonization which allows you to expand and strategize. To capture Olympus is a major challenge, but you and your alliance can use the help of small and large temples in your quest to conquer Olympus.
Wiki - The Grepolis Wikipedia (where you are now). Pure - A player who only builds military buildings and troops. Point whore - A player who focuses on building up cities and gaining points rather then building troops (also known as a Sim player). Gold whore - A player that excessively uses gold in-game.
