Are You Living In a Floodplain? Greenville County is pleased to announce that the 2021 FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps are now available to view using the County's GIS system. To see the 2021 flood zones, base flood elevations, and Letters of Map Amendments (LOMA), click here.
The SC Flood Inundation and Mapping for Action or the IMPACT (scfloodimpact.com) website is also available for viewing the flood maps. The Floodplain Map Viewer allows a search by address to view the flood zone.
The City of Greenville is proposing changes to its floodplain, which is a combination of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood maps, including the 100-year flood zones, and the City's own flood study maps. This is being done alongside the new Land Management Ordinance update.
