Im just about to hit 87 slayer (finally) and am just looking at the drop rates for when i get a kraken task. To get the best chance at first trident wouldnt it make sense to go for the smaller cave krakens and have a 1/200 chance of an empty trident and just charge it up compared to the bosses at 512 which could take quite a few tasks to get one?
The Kraken is located in the Kraken Cove. It is recommended to use the Magic attack style to fight the Kraken, as Ranged deals 1/7th of its normal damage [1] and it is immune to Melee , due to the fact that it cannot be reached by Melee attacks.

Best Slayer Master for Kraken? I'm getting back and forth answers when I ask around, checked wiki and know Kraken has the same weight for both but it looks like Duradel has more tasks weighted more. Kraken is a decent gp boss especially for how easy it is. you should make a profit evey trip, always. However, when you get to the endgame stage where you can do raids, vorkath etc. kraken becomes a pretty bad money maker in comparison, to the points it worth doing just for pet. 5. Reply. Award.
