30 cze 2007 · I've been in contact with Warn Tech Support, and the gear assemblies call for a Moly Lube 1 grease, which I'm assuming is an NLGI 1 class grease. The actual brand/trade name that Warn recommends is Aeroshell 17 (ASG17), which is a Shell product.

7 sie 2022 · Access the gears and use recommended grease for the gear and light oil for the pawls and spring so that the rotation won’t be affected. Ensure that the grease is evenly distributed across every nook and crannies of the gear.
7 cze 2017 · If your Lewmar 40 requires allen wrenches, it may be an EVO model (see attached link pdf page 26). http://www.lewmar.com/sites/default/...2304iss9_2.pdf As others have said, less is better on the grease. If we can see the grease with a quick glance, we have used too much.
Clean all parts in petroleum solvent, dry and grease with waterproof grease (Barlow Yacht Grease recommended). Lubricate the pawls (6) and springs (7) with a few drops of SAE30 oil. Note - Do not grease the pawls.
