14 mar 2020 · What I observe currently is that 41%/1500 rpms is the minimum fan speed, and manually set 100% is about 3700 rpms. The card when left to its own choices, at 85C it only reaches 66% / 2450 rpms. But then it starts bouncing between 2450 and 4650 rpms (which would be like 124%).

31 maj 2019 · Hi I recently replaced the thermal paste on my 4 year old 980ti. I got lower temps however the fans on the card run at full once the gpu gets above 50c, And they will stay at full speed even if the GPU is at 40c. I have tried a lot of fixes online here is a list of them. Flashing the GPU bios.
