Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Michele’s Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue which was started in 1997. We are a no kill rescue that takes in and adopts out animals from shelters all over the country.
Adoption saves two lives – the adopted pet and the one who takes their place in the shelter. As the nation’s largest funded adoption event, Empty the Shelters helps homeless pets find families by making adoption affordable for prospective pet owners.
Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization made up of dedicated foster families devoted to helping homeless and unwanted dogs find loving, forever homes where they can happily live out the rest of their lives.
The events offer opportunities for our pets to find new homes and for our organization to help more pets by opening up kennel space. The event also offers the staff an opportunity to celebrate all the pet adoptions!

Fig and Friends Pet Rescue offers help for pets in need as well as has cats and dogs that are fully vetted and microchipped available for adoption. We take donations of gently used pet items, deposit returnable cans and bottles and anything else pet related.
