Students at any grade level, for any school, register through Central Student Enrollment. Online Registration: Information for all family members only needs to be entered once, saving you time. Click here to access the 2024-25 online registration form, complete, and submit the form.
After a completed Enrollment Form is received by the Central Student Enrollment office, the student will be assigned to an elementary school according to home area and space availability. In the summer, notification of placement will be mailed to the family.
This program allows student enrollment from one school district into another. In the 2020-21 school year, more than 86,000 Minnesota students, or 9.9%, are open-enrolled. State applications are used for any open enrollment situation involving two school districts in Minnesota.
