I did the manual update download on one of them (downloaded the Update.zip file) and was wondering if I can use that update file on the rest of the gopros... or if that's a mistake, since I entered the first gopro's serial number for the download.
Yeah. It expired three days ago. Also I assume it's the reason that the auto update is failing to download the 1.42 update for me. You need to add a timeout check for that as it'll just spin at 0% and never stop. Coupled with the warning not to turn off your phone.
Its quite easy to do a manual update, If you are on the gopro website there will be an option and instructions to download the update onto the memory card and then put it in the camera and let it update.
