Open app again and then log out (3 small bars in the top left). Log back in and try downloading again. This is what worked for me and was really straightforward. If this doesn't work for others I'd advise restarting your pc/laptop BEFORE step 3 (reopening the app).
24 paź 2024 · Turn off your wifi while it's loading the the preparing game screen. Then it will force the damn app to ask you to load your save files from local save. Turn your wifi back on immediately after you select your option. That's how i get it to work.
This worked for me. I downloaded origin: https://www.dm.origin.com/download. Although it tells you to install the ea app. Ignore it and just let the games download in the background on origin. Make sure EA is not running in the background. Once the games are done downloading end task for origin and go back to EA.
But my download was stuck on preparing for days and I was pissed. They couldn't figure anything out in the live chat, I tried everything they said. Clean booting, cache clearing, delete and reinstall, etc.
23 gru 2021 · Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options. After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again. Then do the same for the Xbox app:
7 kwi 2021 · - Open the 'Services' app - Look for 'Gaming Services' - right click the service and click 'Stop' if it is running (For some reason, I had '2' of these - i Stopped both) - Start 'XBox' app. For me, downloads started working again. Good luck!
19 mar 2022 · Open the Xbox app again, scroll down to a game I want to download, "Nobody Saves the World" in this case, click on "Install", confirm install location, the "Install" button changes to "Preparing 0%" and won't do anything for a few minutes before it cancels the install.
