I'm always seeing amazing-looking recipes from the New York Times, but it looks like you need to buy a subscription to access their archive. It's not expensive ($1.25 a week), but I'm wondering what you get that's not available from just Googling recipes. Any feedback from those who have tried a subscription?
I've had the New York Time cooking subscription for about a month now and generally have enjoyed it. I've had some hits and misses but the recipes seem of a higher caliber than some of the other sites I've used (Budget Bytes and All Recipes).
I see the NYT's cooking subscription is $40/year - which is about the price of a good hardcover cookbook. Is it worth it for the recipes? I've found a few good ones, but can't say they were better than anything I found on Epicurious for free.
