25 cze 2024 · Some cassettes need a spacer behind them, and if you don’t use one then all the lockring does is tighten down onto the freehub body, and your cassette is left flopping around. Another reason your cassette might be loose is that the lockring is cross-threaded, which is embarrassingly easy to do.
5 mar 2021 · I reckon you have 2 problems going on here. too little chain tension is causing the problems on the small sprocket, dial in you cable tension a 1/4 turn at a time (anti clock) to fix it. the reluctance to drop off big sprocket is probably a stiff cable.
21 paź 2023 · Had the GX T-Type transmission installed by my LBS yesterday. I only had to purchase the derailleur, cassette and chain. LBS said my original E*thirteen chain ring will work with the T-Type transmission. I am going to take the new transmission for a ride tomorrow.

1 paź 2013 · I just installed a new durace 11-23 cassette with a kmc x10 chain. RD is sram red. I originally had a force 12-25 with sram 1051 chain. The shifting from the 12t to the 11t cog is a bit rough. With the B-screw adjusted to 6mm from the 23t the shifting from 12 to 11 is really rough.
6 maj 2023 · Having a strange issue. Installing t-type groupset on my Revel Ranger v2. I have followed the SRAM installation guide and triple checked all steps. Everything works great until I get to the last step and tigher the thru axle. Once the axle is tightened, the cassette locks up.
