God’s love for me is not tied to any worth or value of my own. As a believer in Jesus, I am not into self-esteem—I’m into Christ-esteem. I appreciate what God has done, through Jesus. My spirit is born again, but I still have flesh—so that part of me doesn’t contribute to my relationship with God.
