2 wrz 2020 · For this to work, IMAP has to be enabled in your Gmail account. Log in to your Gmail account and click on the Settings icon in the top-right corner. It looks like a gear. The Quick Settings toolbar will open. Click on See all settings. Scroll down to the IMAP access: section and select Enable IMAP.
POP (Post Office Protocol) and IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) are two different ways to get email in your email program. We recommend using IMAP for your Comcast.net email. POP can cause problems when checking your mail from more than one phone or computer because POP removes the mail from our server and delivers it to your device.
