2 paź 2024 · My old gmail account continued to work on Outlook after Google apparently made this change a few months ago, but I had to delete the account temporarily from Outlook and now I am unable to add it back in. I am also unable to add new gmail accounts to Outlook. Is there a workaround for this problem?
7 paź 2024 · Try adding your Gmail account to Outlook using the manual setup option. In Outlook application, go to File > Add Account > Manual setup or additional server types > choose IMAP.
17 paź 2024 · When you try to add a Gmail account to classic Outlook you may see the error: “We couldn’t log on to the incoming (POP/IMAP) server. Please check your email address and password and try again.”
18 paź 2024 · After years, Outlook stopped syncing with my personal gmail (not Workspace). I checked to confirm Google server set on iMap. Couldn't find any other settings that might cause this issue. Frustrated, I then deleted the Outlook profile and tried to add it back in to hopefully resolve the problem.
