21 sty 2008 · Gene has great prices for OEM replacement stuffs. I had to buy a part for my Cadillac recently, and the dealership wanted $95 + tax. Checked Gene's online catalog and it was $55 + shipping. Emailed Gene asking if it was the right part and he responded with great detail, assuring it was what I needed. Great service! Received it in just about a week.
20 sty 2008 · There is at least one other GM OEM parts site (also run through a dealership) that offers almost the exact same pricing as Gene. Now I've never tried to call them, but I've been happy with their online-only service.
1 kwi 2013 · I've been told you still use the C5 LS6 Slave Cylinder. Only the flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate are from C6 LS7. The last year C5 (2004) had an improved slave and master that is preferred for the LS7 clutch kit. Gene Culley at GM Parts House was very helpful to me, explaining what works best.
