7 wrz 2012 · My wife and I have electronic fobs that can be used to lock and unlock the car door. The electronic signals between the fob and the car were out of whack and the car lock kept going on all by itself. I pulled the battery from the fobs and the problem was solved.
22 kwi 2016 · I just had my engine, alternator, and battery replaced. Now what's going on is when I'm driving, all of a sudden the radio starts going on/off, my doors start locking/unlocking by themselves, the A/C will come on all as if the alternator is going bad.
7 kwi 2014 · I will check my owners manual (?) but the Haynes service book wiring diagram shows both a relay and a 'door lock control module'. Talking with chevy service techs locally (?) I've been told this 'module' was under the jack in the left rear of the sub, but there is nothing there but the jack.
Most often I've noticed that when I put it in park (auto unlocks everything), take out the keys and open the door/engage the door handle, it locks everything. 2nd most noticed is the car will be unlocked, then I open the driver's door and it all locks.
18 maj 2022 · Pushing down on the lock causes it to lock all the other doors in the car and then the driver door unlocks itself. The car will only stay locked after I pull up on the lock, shut the door, and lock it with the keyfob. Or I can insert the key in the door and lock it manually.
24 sie 2005 · When I lock my passenger door and then shut it, the door unlocks itself. Something is causing the lock button to pop up when I shut it. I can lock it if I hold the button in the handle in while I close the door (reminds me of some of the late 70's and 80's foreign cars) and I can lock it if I put the key in the lock after its closed.
29 lis 2017 · The car door has a sensor that detects something is not to proper spec. The lock signal is sent to the car. Since the door sensor thinks something isn’t as it should be, the car initiated an unlock and relock sequence to ensure the safety feature (unlocking) is accessible.
