24 sie 2019 · Kinda hard to imagine that the new 6.6L GDI engine cannot attain even those numbers. A driver can make a 33% difference in fuel economy. Tell that owner to quit driving it like a Corvette or quit complaining about the MPG.

Great engines now. Think of 20 years from now. I’ll take a 7.3 pushrod over a 6.2 DOHC any day. Easier to work on the 7.3. Slightly better fuel economy and power with the 7.3 as well. 6.2 is the base engine option for a reason.
