I recently returned from a 2 week trip to italy and I am pleased to say that eating gluten free proved to be much easier than I thought. I brought gluten free bagels and cereal with me and was able to eat them at my hotels.
We just came back from two weeks in Italy, my daughter is gluten free, and overall we had a good experience. I did,, however, do a LOT of research before I went.

I enjoyed chatting with her and meeting her son, and she even gave us suggestions for places to eat that weren't just gluten free, but were also celiac friendly...
