The videos I saw all described using the screwdriver to push the pin to the right (in the direction it’s already leaning) then it springs free but it simply won’t move any further than it does as you press the release button to aide it in that direction closer to that point.
21 lut 2010 · Make sure you have enough light down the magwell and with a small 4-6 inch screwdriver slide over and out the spring steel holding the mag release out. From the top down, slide it to the left and lift.
Slide the catch past the spring, and then finagle the spring back into the notch in the catch with the screwdriver. And you're DONE! You have now installed a new replacement / upgraded mag catch in your trusty Glock®!
